What is Planned for 2007 ??
The St. Kevin’s College Rugby Association has a significant number of events planned for 2007 and we are looking for you to join us!
First up is our Welcome to Rugby night to be held @ the College on Thursday March 22, commencing @ 7.30 pm. Look out for further details in the weekly College Newsletter. This is a particularly important event for Year-7 students (and their parents) who are interested in joining the Rugby community at St. Kevin’s and the wider life long Rugby community. The focus of the night is about enjoying the game, but more importantly the safety aspects of the game and how our coaches and referees focus on player safety.
Following on from this is the annual Rugby Camp, where the boys are provided with focussed training & support to equip them for the season ahead. Finalised dates & details to be provided soon.
Mark June 16 down in your diaries for the annual Presidents Luncheon, and what a luncheon it will be. With a booking in Smith Hall, we will have significantly improved seating capacity to make the sensational food & drinks catering taste just that bit better. We are in the final throes of organising our guest speaker, but rest assured that the “talent” for the afternoon will rival that of previous years. Why not book a table and invite some of your business associates? What better way to say thankyou and enjoy an afternoon after watching some of AUstralia’s best schoolboy athletes play the game they play in heaven!
