SKC 1st XV v GGS

SKC first XV ventured to Geelong to play Geelong Grammer on a calm and sunny Saturday.

St Kevin’s demonstrated that they had developed over the last couple of weeks with resilient defense from kick off. The boys posted up on rucks tightly and came forward in defense making 1st up tackles and most importantly stayed disciplined in the ruck situation. SKC turned over the ball and reached the gain line as we picked and went, the forwards hammering each other through contact and cleaning out eagerly. The result was quick ball and a consequential great team try. Lei was playing strongly, making constructive yards in the middle of the park and scoring 4 tries. Bill Stewart was rewarded for his pace scoring three tries and Ross Arnold was influential.

Final score SKC 53 GGS 0
