Japan High Schools to visit Melbourne
The National Japanese Schools Rugby Team called Japan High Schools will be visiting Melbourne from Mon July 30 to Thursday Aug 2nd. They are on a regular tour of Australia which this year takes in 4 games including Victorian Schoolboys. The Victorian game is at Marcellin College 150 Bulleen Rd, Bulleen at 2.30 pm on Wednesday 1st Aug. This is the first national team to visit to play Victoria at schoolboy level since 1997 when the England team with none other than Johnny Wilkinson was in the team as a schoolboy. Many of the Japanese players will be household names in Japan and play internationals in the years to come.
