Comments:

An excellent team performance against an undermanned though valiant Ivanhoe side. Match started as only 14-a-side and was reduced to 12-a-side before half time (Ivanhoe withdrawals). Despite this disruption and the consequence instability through altered structures, SKC were admirable in their determination to retain focus, and maintain pressure and the desire to score points. For improvement: The side still needs to communicate more effectively as a unit, allowing improved structure and completion of core jobs; a few good clearouts and pick-and-go plays were achieved although more consistency in this area is still required; and finally, the error rate and retention of ball was not as required – the side had the capacity to restrict all ball to Ivanhoe and to have retained possession for most of the game (although a very good defensive and repossession effort was achieved).
