The SKC Fluffy Bunnies were up against MGS for the match at Fawkner Park, which commenced at 9.00 on the Saturday morning. Yet again players from the other SKC team (the Bush Babies) had to play twice due to many injuries.

Considering the wet conditions SKC started averagely. Due to a hurried preparation the backs were unorganised and the forwards slightly confused. Luckily we were able to get the ball out wide, which resulted in 2 fairly early tries of which one was converted. Finally we started to play smart rugby and there were a few great passages of play, which resulted in another converted try. SKC headed into the break with a 19 – nil lead.
 
MGS came back tougher after the break and fought hard. However, SKC managed to hold on and keep their concentration. Great work at the scrum and the breakdown from Louis Alexopoulos, Liam Curran and Nick Cowen gave the side a lot of ball. And yet again Hayden Hutchings was strong in defence. The good work as a team resulted in two more tries and one conversion.
 
SKC came out well on top with a 31 – 0 win. We are improving as a team but as always still have work to do. A great team effort and a very enjoyable game.
