Info on rugby: FAQs & Downloads
Many visitors to this site may be beginners at understanding rugby. If you are not sure about the rules and the background of the game, some of the info on this page should help you.
While you can always google rugby to find some interesting websites, the following links cover a broad range, and we have checked them out and found them useful.
The best I have seen for explaining the game in a good website is the BBC sport website. It is excellent, very new, informative and newsy.

The VRU website (Victorian Rugby Union) is another good link: they represent the sport in this state, and are usually up to date with the news of what is going on.

The ARU (Australian Rugby Union) has some good links, including a lovely simple overview for beginners, that briefly outlines the laws of the game. http://www.rugby.com.au/community_rugby/laws_of_the_game/laws_of_the_game,42.html
For the complete laws of the game of rugby, you can’t go past the IRB (International Rugby Board). Admittedly somewhat boring, but it is certainly comprehensive. http://www.irb.com/EN/Laws+and+Regulations/
